From rewards checking accounts and convenient products, to mobile account management and online payment services, TS Bank is a community bank that offers ‘mega-bank’ products, without sky-high fees and poor client care.

During my time at TS Bank, I have had dozens of people come in frustrated with their current bank and helped them understand that it doesn’t have to be that way. Have you ever experienced these issues with your bank?

1. When starting a new account or service, I was not given all the information I needed to understand my agreement.
At TS Bank, at the start of any account or service agreement, clients are provided with full disclosures outlining all fees and expectations listed.

2. My bank charges excessive fees.
Our Kasasa rewards checking/savings accounts and TS Checking accounts are completely free with no monthly service fees and no minimum balance requirement. None of our consumer checking or savings accounts have a monthly maintenance fee.

3. I feel like I am just a number when I call or stop in to my bank.
At TS Bank, our employees work hard to make clients feel valued and welcome. Our clients are the reason we do what we do and whether a client has one account or multiple, we will work to build a strong relationship with them.

4. The client service at my bank is poor.
When walking in to any TS Bank location, you can expect to be greeted with a smile and a helpful attitude. We are constantly working to improve, but one thing we pride ourselves in, is our great client service. Our employees do their best to provide clients with the best service and to ensure they walk away feeling satisfied and happy.

5. My bank cannot keep up with modern technology.
We offer many products and services that allow clients to manage their banking from anywhere. TS Bank has online banking with services like online bill pay, external transfers, Popmoney®, eStatements and more. With our mobile banking app, clients can deposit a check remotely. With the SHAZAM BOLT$ protection, clients can have peace of mind when it comes to keeping track of their debit card purchases. TS Bank also has the option to instant-issue a debit card to clients in a matter of minutes, without having to wait around for a new card to come in the mail. To discover more ways that TS Bank keeps up with the technology changes, read about them here.

6. My bank has a limited number of ATM’s AND charges me to use others’ ATM’s.
TS Bank has ATMs located at six of its bank branches plus two ATM’s located at Iowa Western Community College and an ATM at CHI Health Mercy Hospital in Corning. To locate one of our nine ATM’s, please click here. While, our ATM’s are not located everywhere, TS Bank does not charge a fee to our clients to use an ATM that is part of the Privileged Status ATM Network. Search the network for an ATM near you here. In fact, with our Kasasa rewards checking account, we will refund you up to $25 in ATM fees.

7. My bank posts debits before credits, which can cause more overdraft fees than necessary.
In our system, credits are posted before debits which means all deposits made each day are posted before any checks, debit card purchases or ATM withdrawals are posted.

At TS Bank, our clients avoid the most common banking problems. Granted, all people (and banks) can make mistakes and nobody is perfect, but we believe in owning our mistakes and correcting them in the future. We truly strive to be the best. If you’ve experienced any of these issues when it comes to your banking and would like to make the switch to TS Bank, please visit me at TS Bank’s downtown Council Bluffs branch or call (712) 487-3000.
