TS Bank is a proud partner of the Dream Playground Re-Imagined effort, recently revealing a gift of $1,200 with representatives of the Pottawattamie County Community Foundation and the Dream Playground Re-Imagined committee. In addition, TS Bank had 25 employees volunteer with the Dream Playground Re-Imagined build this past summer.

“Many of our employees grew up enjoying the Dream Playground, myself included. It was an honor to help with the build for the next generation,” said TS Banking Group Director of Community Reinvestment Kelsey Stupfell. “Giving back with a gift in this way, as well as utilize our time and talent in our community, was very rewarding,”

TS Bank employees are awarded 50 hours of paid volunteer time each year. This commitment is directly linked to the company’s core values and mission to Ignite Prosperity in the communities it serves.

Employees helped volunteer at the Dream Playground build Phase I and II in July 2018.

“I dedicated all 50 hours of my allotted volunteer time off to the Dream Playground Re-Imagined as part of the Little Helpers Committee and a crew leader during the construction of the playground. Time was spent soaping screws, putting equipment together, setting up the structure and much more,” said TS Banking Group Cash Management Specialist Lindsey Mahan. “It was a pleasure to work on this project as a community, and build a beautiful place for the children in the Council Bluffs and surrounding areas to enjoy for many years to come.”

TS Bank is dedicated to community prosperity and reinvests 10 percent of net income back into the community through outreach, event sponsorships, charitable giving and employee volunteerism. In addition, more than 50 percent of the annual giving is dedicated to financial literacy through TS Institute.

“We really appreciate TS Bank’s generous contribution to our Endowment Fund at PCCF. It will help maintain the playground, which was carefully built by so many volunteers, including TS Bank employees,” said Lynne Branigan, Dream Playground Project Chair. “The bank also purchased two fence pickets as we are still seeking sponsorships to reach the next 100 picket goal.”
