Southwest Iowa COVID-19 Response
Iowa West Foundation, Pottawattamie County Community Foundation and Council Bluffs Community School District have joined forces to create the Southwest Iowa COVID-19 Response Unmet Needs Fund. The Southwest Iowa COVID-19 Response Fund will support the following areas: Emergency Assistance to Vulnerable Populations, Public Health Expanded Infrastructure, Continuity of Nonprofit Operations and Funding to Support Long Term Recovery Relief as well as Emergency Childcare for those on the frontlines of the pandemic. U.S. Chamber of Commerce
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act allocated $350 billion to help small businesses and nonprofits keep workers employed amid the pandemic and economic downturn. Known as the Paycheck Protection Program, the initiative provides 100% federally guaranteed loans to eligible organizations. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has issued this guide to help organizations understand what to expect and prepare to file for a loan.
